These concerns grew from the work of various researchers. Questions over the impact of DDT on wildlife and fish were raised since there was a decrease in their population. The decline in bald eagle populations was also linked to the use of DDT. The risk spread to the health of human beings as there were major concerns over the growing number of cancer patients (Friis, 2019). Pregnant women were also experiencing stillbirths or giving birth to deformed children. These concerns became worrisome and albeit other researchers still supporting its use for the prevention of malaria, the value of human life and health led to its ban.nnThe hazards associated with DDT outweigh the pesticide?s benefits because the chemicals cause more detrimental health issues on human beings other than??????????????.
