In Chapter 6 of the textbook, the author’s discuss administrative agencies.  If you consider Chapter 4 of the textbook, we discussed the structure of the federal government which is tripartite (three-part). The administrative agency’s structure is compared to the federal government’s structure in the textbook.  Consider the following:

1. How is the structure of the administrative agency different from the tripartite structure of the federal government as described in the textbook?
2. Do you think individuals or businesses should be concerned with the structure of administrative agencies?
3. What procedural and operating requirements of the administrative agency would “check” the power of this governmental body?
4. Use as an example, one Case Summary included in Chapter 6 of the textbook and explain how the administrative agency’s power was examined or explained in the court opinion.  Make sure to include a short synopsis of the case in your analysis.

Each student must post an answer to my question which would be your initial response (200-500 words in length) and contain two references to the textbook readings. If you are using the online version of the textbook, please include the section number of the topic from the book along with a paragraph number (such as “Section 1-1a, para. 2”). In addition to this, you must post four additional substantive posts in response to your classmates messages.
