Read Case Study 5.1 in Chapter 5 of your text. Identify and discuss two to three dysfunctional behaviors that can result from intergenerational abuse. Keeping in mind the need to protect the welfare of the child and to understand the perpetrator’s own past abuse. Strategize an intervention to be used by the human service professional to address each identified dysfunctional behavior and break the cycle of abuse.
